BANAMEX INVESTMENT BANK PLC RETIREMENT AND DEPENDANTS’ PLAN (formerly known as the International Mexican Bank Retirement and Dependants’ Plan) (“The Plan”) Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustees of the Plan are winding-up the Plan. Any former employee of Banamex Investment Bank Plc or International Mexican Bank Limited who believes that he or she was or should have been a Member of the Plan and who is not receiving a pension from the Plan or who has not received an announcement from the Independent Trustee of the Plan (Masons Trustees Limited, previously called “Davies Arnold Cooper Trustees Limited”) should notify the Independent Trustee of his/her claim by writing to Jeremy Taylor, Director, Masons Trustees Limited, 100 Barbirolli Square, Manchester M2 3SS, before 10th April 2000. A claimant should provide his/her full name, address, date of birth, the period during which the claimant worked for either Banamex Investment Bank Plc or International Mexican Bank Limited and any documents which the claimant may have supporting his/her claim. In addition, if any person has any other claim against or interest in the Plan, he/she is requested to write to Jeremy Taylor at the above address setting out particulars of such a claim or interest in writing before 10th April 2000. After 10th April 2000 the Trustees may distribute the assets of the Plan amongst the persons entitled thereto having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice and will not, as regards the assets so distributed, be liable to any person of whose claim they do not have notice.
