NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
This notice is an amendment to that placed on 13th January 2000 in The London Gazette Take notice that William Smith, of Park Farm, Eye, Leominster, Herefordshire is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from The River Teme between National Grid Reference SO 6697 6885 to SO 6826 6827, at land at Eastham, near Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 55 cubic metres per hour, 1,100 cubic metres per day, 31,000 cubic metres between April and September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Lower House, Eastham, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, between 4th February 2000 and 11th March 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period.
