THE SALISBURYS PENSION SCHEME

NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

The above-named Scheme commenced winding-up on 30th June 1996. Any person who believes that he or she has a claim against, or entitlement to, a pension or any benefit from, or interest in, the above Scheme by reason of his or her own or a relative’s or any other person’s full or part-time employment with the following companies, namely: Salisburys Limited, Salisburys Handbags Limited, Contessa Ladies Wear, Red or Dead, Oakland Menswear, Facia Footwear, Facia Limited, Sock Shop, is hereby required to send particulars in writing of his or her claim or entitlement (together with full name, present addresss and date of birth) to William M. Mercer Limited, PO Box 64, 5 Bedford Park, Croydon CR9 2ZT, marked “For the attention of Mrs. J. Curnyn: Ref BP7/WUPS/Salisburys” (acting for the Trustee of the Scheme) by 3rd August 2000. After this date the Trustee will distribute the assets of the Scheme among the persons entitled, having regard only to those claims and entitlements of which it has had written notice before this date, and will not be liable to any other person.
