DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE—PARISH OF MALHAM MOOR COUNTY OF THE NORTH RIDING OF YORKSHIRE

Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949, and section 35(1)(c) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and all other powers enabling them on their behalf, that by the New House Farm, Malham National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 2000, made on 20th June 2000, the Nature Conservancy Council for England declared that the land containing 26.12 hectares or thereabouts situated in the parish of Malham Moor in the county of The North Riding of Yorkshire, and shown yellow on the plan attached to the said Declaration has been acquired and is being held by the National Trust, a body approved by the Council. Certified copies of the New House Farm, Malham National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 2000, have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton at Craven District Council, Granville Street, Skipton, at the National Trust, Goddards, Tadcaster Road, York, and at the offices of the Nature Conservancy Council for England, at Thornborough Hall, Leyburn and Northminster House, Peterborough.
