(CO Ref. 1506/2000) Notice is hereby given that on 29th June 2000, the Honourable Mr. Justice Moses sitting in the High Court of Justice, Queen’s Bench Division, (Crown Office List) gave permission to British Telecommunications Plc (“BT”) to appeal under section 46B of the Telecommunications Act 1984, against a Determination made by the Director General of Telecommunications under Condition 50A.7 of BT’s Licence on 11th April 2000, relating to Interim Carrier Pre-Selection, in which proceedings BT seeks an Order that the Determination be quashed. The Court directed that the hearing of this appeal should take place no earlier than 17th July 2000, and no later than 31 July 2000. The Court also directed that any person directly affected by the appeal who files and serves a notice of appearance not less than 14 days before the date on which the matter is listed for hearing, shall be entitled to receive a copy of the appeal bundles and to appear and be heard in the appeal, subject to any limitation which the Court hearing the appeal may impose on such appearance, and subject to any such person being liable to pay any such costs as the court may order.
