WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE—DISTRICT OF CANTERBURY CITY, COUNTY OF KENT
Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Blean Woods National Nature Reserve No. 5 Declaration 2000 made on 12th July 2000, the Nature Conservancy Council for England declared that the land containing 123.48 hectares or thereabouts situated in the district of Canterbury City, in the county of Kent, and shown shaded on the plan attached to the said Declaration is being held by the Kent Wildlife Trust, a body approved by the Council, and is being managed as a Nature Reserve. Certified copies of the Blean Woods National Nature Reserve No. 5 Declaration 2000 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours, at the offices of Kent County Council, County Hall, Maidstone; at the offices of Canterbury City Council, Military Road, Canterbury; and at the offices of the Nature Conservancy Council for England, at Northminster House, Peterborough, and Wye, Kent.
