(formerly the Weeks Associates Retirement Benefit Scheme)
THIS NOTICE IS GIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
The Trusts of the WA Holdings Plc Retirement Benefit Scheme (formerly the Weeks Associates Retirement Benefit Scheme) (“the Scheme”) established by a deed dated 28th January 1974 made between WA Holdings Plc (“the Principal Employer”, previously known as Weeks Associates Limited and Weeks Trailers Limited and now known as Philidas Limited), and the then Trustees of the Scheme. Notice is hereby given that it is anticipated that the Principal Employer will shortly give notice to wind up the Scheme. Any person (including any person who worked on a part-time basis for the Principal Employer or any of its associated companies) having a claim against or interest in the Scheme which is subject to the trusts of the deed referred to above (of which HMH Pension Trustees Limited (“the Trustee”) is the present trustee) is hereby required to send written particulars of his or her claim or interest to the PO Box given below on or before 24th September 2000. After that date it is anticipated that the Trustee will proceed to distribute the assets of the Scheme amongst the persons entitled to them having regard only to the claims and interests of which the Trustee shall then have had notice. The Trustee will not, as regards the assets of the Scheme or any part thereof so distributed, be liable to any person of whose claim or interest it shall not then have had notice. Notification is not required from anyone who has at any stage received communications relating to the Scheme from HMH Pension Trustees Limited. Persons who have changed their address since receiving their last communication from the Trustee should reply with details of their new addresss.
