NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Following my appointment by the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority, I, David Graham Worthy, Independent Pension Trustee, am taking the required steps to wind up the above scheme. I therefore intend to distribute the assets of the Scheme. I am writing to all Members for whom we have current addresses. Any person having a claim against, or an interest in, the Scheme are required to send particulars in writing to Colonial Life [UK] Ltd, Colonial House, Quayside, Chatham Maritime, Kent ME4 4YY, before 16th October 2000, after which date the Trustee will distribute the assets of the Scheme among the persons entitled, having regard only to the claims and interests of which he has notice, and will not, as regards the assets so distributed, be liable to any person whose claim or interest he does not then have notice of.
