NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF REVISED PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A REVISED UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

SUTTON UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The London Borough of Sutton have revised the proposals for the replacement of the above Plan. If, and when, this revised Plan (the Plan) is adopted it will form the development plan for the area of Sutton. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the revised Plan are available for public inspection, free of charge, at: Beddington Library, The Broadway, Beddington (Tuesday and Friday, 1400 hours to 1800 hours; Thursday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours; and Saturday 1400 hours to 1700 hours); Carshalton Library, The Square, Carshalton (Tuesday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours; Wednesday and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours; Thursday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours; and Friday, 0930 hours to 1800 hours); Cheam Library, Church Road, Cheam (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours; Thursday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours; and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1800 hours); Middleton Circle Library, Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton (Tuesday, 0930 hours to 1800 hours; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours; and Thursday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours); Ridge Road Library, Ridge Road, Sutton (Tuesday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours; Wednesday and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours; Thursday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours; and Friday, 0930 hours to 1800 hours); Roundshaw Library, Mollison Drive, Roundshaw, Wallington (Tuesday, 0930 hours to 1800 hours; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours; and Thursday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours); Sutton Central Library, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton (Tuesday to Friday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours; Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours; and Sunday, 1400 hours to 1700 hours); Wallington Library, Shotfield, Wallington (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours; and Thursday and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours); Worcester Park Library, Windsor Road, Worcester Park (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours; and Thursday and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1700 hours). Copies of the Plan are also available for inspection at the Civic Offices, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey SM1 1EA and Environment and Leisure Group, London Borough of Sutton, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, Surrey SM5 2JG (Mondays to Fridays between 0900 hours and 1700 hours). Objections to, and representations in respect of, the revised Plan, should be sent in writing to the Executive Head of Planning and Transportation, Environment and Leisure Group, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, Surrey SM5 2JG, before 1700 hours on 4th December 2000. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the Plan. Objections may only be made in respect of those parts of the Plan which have been revised since the original Plan was made available on 20th May 1999. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 4th December 2000 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
