NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Simon Martin Farms of North Fareham Farm, Pook Lane, Fareham, Hampshire PO17 6LU, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from chalk borehole between National Grid Reference SU 6383 658 at Three Corners, Hambledon, Hampshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 10 cubic metres per hour, 100 cubic metres per day, 36,500 cubic metres (per year) - (between 1st January and 31st December each year). The water will be used for Agricultural and Domestic purposes, all water to be returned to aquifer via septic tanks and soakaways. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at The Pump House, Green Lane, Hambledon, beside Brooks Cottages, between 14th November 2000 and 14th December 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, The Resources Manager, Colvedene Court, Wessex Way, Golden Common, Hampshire SO21 1WP, before the end of the said period.
