(1) PART I OF THE CIVIL JURISDICTION AND JUDGMENTS ACT 1982 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2000

Part I of this Order will come into force on 1st January 2001, the date on which the accessions of Austria, Finland and Sweden to the 1968 Brussels Convention on Jurisdiction and the Recognition and Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters will enter into force in respect of the United Kingdom.

(2) THE CONTRACTS (APPLICABLE LAW) ACT 1990 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2000

This Order will come into force on 1st January 2001, the date on which the accessions of Austria, Finland and Sweden to the 1980 Rome Convention on the Law Applicable to Contractual Obligations will enter into force in respect of the United Kingdom.
