DESIGNATION OF ST. GEORGE’S CIRCUS CONSERVATION AREA
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark, having determined that the area more particularly described in the Schedule hereto is an area of architectural or historic interest the character of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance, on 23rd October 2000, designated the said area as a Conservation Area, to be known as the St. George’s Circus Conservation Area. A copy of the plan showing the extent of the area may be inspected at the Regeneration and Environment Offices at Chiltern, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES, during normal office hours. F. Borough Road; 12 Borough Road, The St. George and Martyr Library; 13-16 Borough Road; 119-132 (consec.) London Road; 1 to 15 (consec.) London Road; 15 a and 16 a London Road; 7 a, 7 b and 7 c St. George’s Circus; North Eastern Quadrant of St. George’s Circus; and 1-3 Westminster Bridge Road.
