BURIAL ACT 1853

Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discontinued in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 13th December 2000 to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee of the Privy Council on 24th January 2001:

1. St. Peter’s Churchyard, Askern, Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster;
2. Holy Trinity Churchyard, Potten End, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire;
3. The Churchyard of St. Mary the Virgin, Little Harrowden, Northamptonshire;
4. Londesborough Road Burial Ground, All Saints, Market Weighton, East Riding of Yorkshire;
5. St. John the Evangelist Churchyard, Slimbridge, Gloucestershire;
6. Holy Trinity Churchyard, Wavertree, Liverpool.
