NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited, of Anglian House, Ambury Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 3NZ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole in the chalk at TL 9712 3115 in the parish of Great Horkesley, in the district of Colchester, in the county of Essex. The proposal is to abstract at the following rates: 72 cubic metres per hour, 1,728 cubic metres per day and 500,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for public water supply. A copy of the application and any maps and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at the address given above and at Great Horkesley Sub P.O., The Causeway, Great Horkesley, Colchester, Essex CO6 4BJ, between 19th January 2001 and 16th February 2001. Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
