Notices under the Trustee Act 1925
LEYLAND MOTORS PENSION TRUST
The Trustees of the Leyland Motors Pension Trust (“the Trust”) intend to wind up the Trust and are anxious to trace all former employees of Leyland Motors and associated Companies who are entitled to benefits under the Trust. The Trustees are particularly concerned that certain Members who have a deferred pension entitlement have not kept the Trustees advised of their recent addresses. The Trustees urgently want to contact such Members, and wish also to hear from any person who may be entitled to claim any benefits arising from the death of a Member of the Trust. They ask that anybody who believes they have an entitlement to a pension from this Trust and who has not received a letter from the Trustees or made contact with them, or their administrators (Capita Hartshead Limited) during the last 12 months should write providing particulars of such entitlement, together with their name, National Insurance number, date of birth and any other information which might assist the Trustees in determining whether the individual is eligible for a benefit. Potential beneficiaries should provide similar information and also a note of their relationship to the deceased Member. Letters should be sent, not later than 4th May 2001, to The Trustees of the Leyland Motors Pension Trust, c/o Capita Hartshead Limited, 4th Floor, Sterling House, 20 Renfield Street, Glasgow G2 5AP. Please note that this notice does not apply to Members of the Leyland Motors Staff Pension Fund, nor the Leyland DAF Pension Scheme, unless they are also Members of the above-named Trust.
