NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR PRE EXAMINATION-IN-PUBLIC CHANGES TO A STRUCTURE PLAN LEICESTERSHIRE, LEICESTER AND RUTLAND STRUCTURE PLAN 1996-2016

Leicestershire County Council, Leicester City Council and Rutland County Council District Council have previously placed on deposit proposals for the above plan. Following consultation the Councils propose changes to certain of the previously advertised proposals for consideration at the Examination-in-Public. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for the area of Leicestershire County Council, Leicester City Council and Rutland County Council District Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., Friday, 8.45 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. In addition, copies are available at all public libraries across the Plan Area during normal opening hours. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent in writing to Tom Purnell, Policy Team, Department of Planning and Transportation, Leicestershire County Council, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RJ, before 25th April 2001. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only those objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 25th April 2001, will have a right to have their objections considered.
