NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Dales Water Services Ltd, Witherick Lane, Melmerby, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 5JB, on behalf of Total Fitness UK Ltd., c/o Kingsley Fereday Management Ltd, Wilmslow Way, Handforth, Wilmslow, is applying to the Environment Agency Wales, for a licence to abstract water from a borehole in the Bunter Sandstone, at National Grid Ref. SJ 4034 6755, at the Total Fitness and Rehabilitation Centre, Liverpool, Road, Chester. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 18 cubic metres per hour, 250 cubic metres per day, 70,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for domestic, sanitary and associated uses at a Fitness and Rehabilitation Centre. A copy of the application and of any map, plans or other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at Total Fitness Centre, Liverpool Road, Chester, between 15th March 2001 and 15th April 2001. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Welsh Region, Llwyn Brain, Ffordd Penlan, Park Menai, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 4DE, before the end of the said peirod.
