ZCCM (UK) PENSION AND DEATH BENEFIT PLAN

(previously known as the Memaco Services Pension and Death Benefit Plan)

PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

The ZCCM (UK) Pension and Death Benefit Plan (“the Plan”) was established with effect from August 1975. Listed below are the Companies that have participated in the Plan:

ZCCM (UK) Limited, previously known as Memaco Services Limited
Memaco Trading Limited, previously known as Memaco (UK) Limited
Zambia Appointments Limited
Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Limited
Zamcargo Limited
Redirection Placement Limited

The Trustees now wish to complete the winding-up of the Plan. Accordingly, if any person believes that he or she has an entitlement under the Plan and that such entitlement, claim against, or interest in the Plan might not have been taken into account, then such persons should make themselves known to the Trustees of the Plan by writing to Emma Dunster at the address below on or before 31st May 2001.
After that date, the Trustees will proceed with the winding-up of the Plan and the distribution of the assets having regards only to the claims and interests of which they have notice.
