UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE ACT 1923

A Statute by the Governing Body of Christ Church, in the University of Oxford, amending Statutes XIII, XXXIII and XL, and inserting new Statutes XXXIIIA and XLII, has been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of its having been submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923. The purposes of the amendments are: (a) to entitle the Development Director to election to an Ordinary Studentship; (b) to permit the adoption of a “total return” policy in respect of investments and to amend the Statutes so as to conform with section 4 of the Universities and Colleges (Trusts) Act 1943.
