TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1984 LAYING OF A CABLE FROM SAUNTON, NORTH DEVON TO BILBAO, SPAIN

Notice is hereby given that McMahon Design and Management Ltd of 76 Merrion Square South, Dublin 2 on behalf of Tycom Networks (UK) Ltd has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions, under paragraph 11 of Schedule 2 to the Telecommunication Act 1984 to lay a submarine Fibre Optic Cable from Saunton, North Devon to Bilbao, Spain.
Plans showing the route of the cable may be inspected at Barnstaple Library, Tuly Street, Barnstaple EX31 1EL.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the proposed works or who wishes to claim compensation for any loss or damage that may be sustained by such person in consequence of the execution of the proposed works should make their representations or claims in writing to the Department of Transport, Ports Division, Fourth Floor, Zone 2/31, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR, within 32 days of the date of this notice quoting Ref. MNA 157/1617/2 and marked for the attention Mr. Damion Bagalue.
