STOPPING-UP OF LENGTHS AND AREAS OF HIGHWAYS AT AUCKLAND CLOSE, NAPIER CLOSE, DUNEDIN CLOSE, WELLINGTON ROAD, GISBORNE CLOSE, MARTIN CLOSE, PHEASANT CLOSE, RAVEN CLOSE, WOODCOCK CLOSE, SWALLOW CLOSE, KENNET ROAD, AND BOURNE ROAD, TIDWORTH, IN THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, entitled ‘‘The Stopping-Up of Highways (County of Wiltshire (No. SW1) Order 2001’’, authorising the stopping-up of lengths and areas of highways at Auckland Close, Napier Close, Dunedin Close, Wellington Road, Gisborne Close, Martin Close, Pheasant Close, Raven Close, Woodcock Close, Swallow Close, Kennet Road, Bourne Road, Tidworth, in the county of Wiltshire, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule and requiring the provision of new highways and footpaths.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West (Decisions Team), 4th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB (quoting Ref. SW/THM/8247/86) and may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, at Tidworth Library, Tidworth Leisure Centre, Nadder Road, Tidworth.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 22nd June 2001, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

K/039616/S, giving their agreement in principle following a consultation by a Government Department (Ministry of Defence) under Circular 18/84 Crown Land and Crown Development.
