PROPOSED AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT AREA

HAVEN BRIDGE ROAD AREA, BOSTON

Notice is hereby given that Boston Borough Council, under the provisions of section 83 of the Environment Act 1995, propose to declare by Order of the Council the length of road and properties close to or bordering it from Queen Street roundabout on the A52 through Queen Street, Liquorpond Street onto the A16 at Haven Bridge and John Adams Way to the junction with Main Ridge East an Air Quality Management Area, specifically to determine the likely levels of Nitrogen Dioxide present in the air there now and in the year 2005. A plan of the area and a list of dwellings within it together with a copy of the proposed Air Quality Management Order will be on display at the Municipal Buildings, West Street, for a period of 6 weeks from the publication of this notice. Viewing these documents is free of charge and affected parties may apply in writing to oppose the Order. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th September 2001, although it will not be made until any objections have been considered. Objections should be in writing and addressed to the Chief Executive, Boston Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston. M.
