THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH (TOOTING BEC COMMON CYCLE TRACKS ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that a public local inquiry is to be held into the London Borough of Wandsworth (Tooting Bec Common) Cycle Tracks Order 2000 which has been submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions for confirmation pursuant to section 3(1)(a) of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984. The inquiry will be held at Wandsworth Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU, on Thursday, 9 August 2001, at 10 am. The effect of the Order, if confirmed, would be to convert existing lengths of footpath to segregated shared pedestrian/cycle facilities between Cavendish Road and Furzedown Road, London SW12/SW17. The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions has appointed Mr D Mellor to hold this inquiry. (Reference GGL 2/23/2).
