ROCHDALE OBSERVER GROUP RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME (“the Scheme”)
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustees are winding-up the above Scheme. Any former employee of the Rochdale Observer Group (G & A N Scott Limited), who believes that he or she was a Member of the above Scheme but who has not already received or transferred his or her benefits out of the Scheme, or who has not been contacted by either the Rochdale Observer Group or William M. Mercer Limited in 2001, is requested to write to Mr M Doeg, Rochdale Observer Group, Wood Street, Hollywood, Stockport SK3 0AB, to make a claim for benefits. Before 30 September 2001, claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth and details of when they worked for the Rochdale Observer Group. If any other person believes they have a claim against or an interest in the Scheme they are requested to write to the same address setting out particulars of their claim before 30 September 2001. After 30 September 2001, the Trustees will secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice and will not be liable to any person for a claim of which they do not then have notice.
