FRED JOHNSON (MACHINERY) LTD PENSION & LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME

The Fred Johnson (Machinery) Limited Pension and Life Assurnace Scheme (“The Scheme”) was established with effect from 1 September 1991. The Company went into Liquidation on 28 July 1999. On 8 August 2000, Alexander Forbes Trustee Services Limited (previously Bradstock Trustee Services Limited) of regsigered office, 1 Seething Lane, London EC3N 4NH, were appointed by the Liquidator to assist them with the winding-up of the Scheme. Alexander Forbes Trustees Services Limited have corresponded by post with all known Members’ of the Scheme. Accordingly, it is of vital importance that any person having a claim against or an interst in the Scheme, including any person who may have been employed by the Company or an associated employer on a part-time basis and who considers that his or her exclusion from the Scheme may have constituted indirect discrimination, who has not received correspondence from us should make themselves known to the Trustees of the Scheme. Particulars of any claim should be sent in writing to Mr Mike Wilson, Alexander Forbes Trustees Services Limited, Hine House, 25 Regent Street, Nottingham NG1 5BU, on or before 27 September 2001, after which date Alexander Forbes Trustee Servcies Limited, along with the Liquidator will proceed with the winding-up of the Scheme and distribution of the scheme assets having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has had notice. Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, or who have received correspondence relating to this Scheme from Alexander Forbes Trustee Services Limited.
