THE BEXLEY BUS STOP CLEARWAY (NO STOPPING EXCEPT BUSES) (AMENDMENT NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No ) Traffic Order 200 would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1991 so that: “At any time” waiting restrictions are introduced in Bellevue Road, Bexleyheath; Denton Road, Welling; Hadlow Road, Welling; Hartford Road, Bexley; Knoll Road, Bexley; Lion Road, Bexleyheath; Lodge Hill, Welling; Mayplace Road West, Bexleyheath; and Okehampton Crescent, Welling. 3. The general effect of the Bexley Bus Stop Clearway (No Stopping Except Buses) (Amendment No ) Traffic Order 200 would be to introduce “At any Time” bus stop clearway restrictions at the bus stop in Lodge Hill, Welling. 4. Copies of the proposed Orders, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1991 (and the Orders that have amended that Order), the Bexley Bus Stop Clearway (No Stopping Except Buses) Traffic Order 1997 (and the Orders that have amended that Order) the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date this notice is published, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, in the Information Centre, London Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB. 5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the Chief Engineer, London Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB, within the aforementioned period of 21 days. 6. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, the Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received to this notice open to public inspection.
