Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that any person (including any former part-time employee (or his or her dependents)) of:

J R Rix and Sons Limited
Hepworth Shipyard Limited
Jordan and Co (Hull) Limited
Maritime Brokers Limited
Montrose Stevedores Limited
Rix Petroleum Products (Scotland) Limited
T&S Rix Limited
Piggins and Rix Limited
Maritime Bunkering Limited
Rix Petroleum Limited
Rix Shipping Company Limited
Or any other Company which has participated in the J. R. Rix & Sons Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme

having an entitlement to benefit under the trust documentation governing the J. R. Rix & Sons Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme or a claim against the Trustees of the J. R. Rix & Sons Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme is required to send particulars in writing of his or her claim to the Trustees, whose address is Witham House, 45 Spyvee Street, Hull HU8 7JR, on or before 23 October 2001, after which date the Trustees will apply the assets of the Scheme among the persons entitled to them having regard only to the claims and interest of which they have had notice and shall not be liable for the assets of the Scheme or any part of them so distributed to any person or persons of whose claim or demands they shall not then have had notice.
