ABBEY LIFE & NORWICH UNION PENSION SCHEMES
PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEES ACT 1925
The Foundrite Limited Executive Pension Plans (“The Schemes”) were established with effect from 1 December 1985, with Abbey Life and 26 August 1992, with Norwich Union. The Company went into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation on 15 August 2000. On 15 December 2000, Alexander Forbes Trustee Services Limited (previously Bradstock Trustee Services Limited), of registered office, 1 Seething Lane, London EC3N 4NH, were appointed by the Liquidator to assist them with the winding-up of the Schemes. Alexander Forbes Trustees Services Limited have corresponded by post with all known Members of the Schemes. Accordingly, it is of vital importance that any person having a claim against or an interest in the Schemes, including any person who may have been employed by the Company or an associated employer on a part-time basis and who considers that his or her exclusion from the Schemes may have constituted indirect discrimination, who has not received correspondence from us should make themselves known to the Trustees of the Schemes. Particulars of any claim should be sent in writing to Mike Wilson, Alexander Forbes Trustees Services Limited, 6th Floor, Market Square House, St James’s Street, Nottingham NG1 6FG on or before 12 December 2001, after which date Alexander Forbes Trustee Services Limited, along with the Liquidator will proceed with the winding-up of the Schemes and distribution of the schemes assets having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has had notice. Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Schemes, or who have received correspondence relating to the Schemes from Alexander Forbes Trustee Services Limited.
