Non-passenger Train and Network Licence Exemption Application by: TNT UK Limited (“the Applicant”) Company Registration Number: 1628530. Registered Address of the Applicant: PO Box 99, Railway Street, Ramsbottom, Lancashire BL0 9AL. Directors of the Applicant: Thomas Bell, Neil Crossthwaite, Gerard Francis Ginty, William Vincent Hanley, Alan David Jones, Stephen Lay, John Thomas Yates, Adrianes Johannes Scheepbouwer and Martinus Peter Bakker. The Rail Regulator hereby gives notice in accordance with section 7(4) of the Railways Act 1993 (as amended) that he proposes to grant the Applicant a non-passenger train and network operating licence exemption. The proposed exempt network and non-passenger train operations will be within a freight terminal at Birch Coppice, Dordon. The Rail Regulator proposes to grant the licence exemption subject to all necessary legal requirements, on the grounds that the network is secure and segregated from the national network and the non-passenger train operation is to be confined to a rail freight only network.
