Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discontinued in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 31 October 2001 to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee of the Privy Council on 11 January 2002: 1. Holy Cross Churchyard, Basildon, Essex; 2. St. Oswald’s Churchyard, Bidston, Birkenhead, Metropolitan Borough of Wirral; 3. St. Anne’s Churchyard, Brown Edge, Staffordshire; 4. The Churchyard of St. John the Baptist, Dronfield, Derbyshire; 5. St. Mary’s Churchyard, Grendon, Northamptonshire; 6. The Churchyard of the Blessed Virgin Mary, East Brent, Sedgemoor, Somerset; 7. St. Augustine’s Churchyard, Locking, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset.
