A Statute made by the Governing Body of St Hilda’s College, in the University of Oxford, inserting a new Statute IX, has been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of its having been submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923. The purpose of the new Statute is to remove doubt as to the legitimacy of the College spending capital appreciation as well as income.
