LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2001/084
NOTICE OF TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark on 30 November 2001 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and of all other powers thereunto.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the London Borough of Southwark (Waiting Restrictions and Parking Places) (No 1) Order 1999/067 by amending the Schedules attached to those Orders by the following additions:

(a) Resident permit spaces in Carter Street, Cook’s Road, Heiron Street, Hillingdon Street, John Ruskin Street, Olney Road, Pelier Street, Penrose Street, relocation in Lorrimore Road and reduction in Fielding Street.
(b) Relocation of business permit spaces in John Ruskin Street.
(c) Disabled permit holder bays in Heiron Street, Hillingdon Street and Lorrimore Road.
(d) Short term waiting spaces in Fielding Street, John Ruskin Street and Penrose Street.
(e) Revocation/amendment to meter parking spaces in John Ruskin Street and Pelier Street.
(f) Introduction of at any time waiting restrictions to the defined sections Macleod Street and Chapter Road.
(g) Extension of waiting restrictions in Fielding Street.
(h) Adjustment and correction to the scheduled length of restriction in various streets.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 30 November 2001, and plans to which the Order relates can be inspected on Mondays to Fridays inclusive during normal office hours for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Southwark Regeneration and Environment Department, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein on grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
