(“the Scheme”) Notice is hereby given under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that ESC Pensions Trust Limited (“the Trustee”) is winding-up the Scheme. The Trustee has written to all Members and beneficiaries currently receiving benefit with details of their benefits under the Scheme. If you believe you are entitled to receive benefits from the Scheme and have not recently been contacted, you should write to: Mrs R G Quinn, Coats plc (Pension Office), Pacific House, 70 Wellington Street, Glasgow G2 6UB, to make a claim for such benefits. All persons making such claims should provide full details of their name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number and period of Scheme membership, together with copies of all documents which support their claim. Furthermore, if any person not being a former Member of the Scheme believes they have any claim against the assets of the Scheme, they should also write to the Trustee at the above address, setting out full details of their claim and including full supporting documentation. Any such claims must be made within three months of the date of publication of this notice. After the expiry of a period of three months, the Trustee may distribute the assets of the Scheme, taking account only of claims and interests of which it then has notice. The Trustee will not thereafter be liable to or in respect of any person in respect of whom the Trustee did not have notice of their claim for benefits or a claim on the assets of the Scheme.
