THE WASTE COMPANY PENSION AND LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 TRUSTEE ACT 1925

The Trustees of The Waste Company Pension and Life Assurance Scheme (“Scheme”) hereby give notice that the Scheme is being wound up. Any person who believes that they have an entitlement to benefits from the Scheme should write to Dave Lawson, Exel plc, Ocean Pensions Department, PO Box 214, India Buildings, Liverpool L69 2BY, giving details of their claims to benefits under the Scheme. Any claim must be registered by 8 April 2002. No person making a claim after 8 April 2002 who is not presently known by the Trustees to be a beneficiary of the Scheme shall be entitled to benefit from the Scheme.
