NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Stuart Matthew Norman, of Dolver Farm, Cooks Drove, The Green, West Row, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP28 8QL, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water by means of two boreholes from the chalk underground strata at National Grid Refs TL 6593 7686 and TL 6715 7672 at Mildenhall parish, Forest Heath district, Suffolk. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 4 cubic metres per hour, 18 cubic metres per day and 2,500 cubic metres per year. The water is for spray irrigation purposes between 1 April and 31 October each year. The application is to renew Licence Serial No 6/33/39/G/330 which expires on 31 October 2002, with no change to the rates of abstraction but with an additional parcel of land. A copy of the application and any map, plans or other documents may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Dolver Farm, Cooks Drove, The Green, West Row, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP28 8QL, between 16 May 2002 and 13 June 2002. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE28 4NE, before the end of the said period quoting the name of the applicant.
