Note. The Scheme which follows this note is made under section 89 of the Postal Services Act 2000 and amends the Successor Postal Services Company Inland Letter Post Scheme 2001. The Scheme, which comes into force on 4 July 2002 changes prices of several products set out in Schdule I.

CONSIGNIA PLC INLAND LETTER POST (AMENDMENT NO 4) SCHEME 2002

Consignia plc(a) by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by section 89 of the Postal Services Act 2000 and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, hereby makes the following Scheme:

Commencement, citation and interpretation

1. This Scheme shall come into operation on 4 July 2002 and may be cited as the Consignia plc Inland Letter Post (Amendment No 4) Scheme 2002.
2. This Scheme shall be read as one with the Successor Postal Services Company Inland Letter Post Scheme 2001(b) (hereinafter called “the Scheme”) as amended by the Consignia plc Inland Letter Post Scheme (Amendment No 1) Scheme 2001, the Consignia plc Inland Letter Post Scheme (Amendment No 2) Scheme 2001 and the Consignia plc Inland Letter Post Scheme (Amendment No 3) Scheme 2001.
3. A reference in this Scheme to the Successor Postal Services Company shall be read as a reference to Consignia plc.

Schedule I Postage Rates and Fees

4. Paragraphs 3, 8, 9, 13, 18 and 20 of Schedule 1 of the Scheme shall be deleted and the following substituted:

c	Regular Daily collection before 3.00 pm (Monday to Friday) from a specific site if spending less than £15,000 on postage with Royal Mail per year at that site	£230 per annum
d	Regular Daily collection after 3.00 pm (Monday to Friday) from a specific site if spending less than £15,000 on postage with Royal Mail per year at that site	£460 per annum
e	Regular weekday or weekend collection from a specific site if spending £15,000 or more on postage with Royal Mail per year at that site	Free
f	Regular Saturday collection	£110 per annum
g	Regular Sunday collection	£110 per annum

9 Floor Fees

The fee is £46 per annum for each floor that Consignia has to travel up or down in addition to the number of floors it would normally travel up or down on collection and delivery.

The fee is waived if the customer spends more than £15,000 on postage with Royal Mail per year at that site.

13 Private Roadside Letterbox

Free of charge if the box has an opening through which mail can be collected and delivered.

The fee is £8.00 per year per Private Roadside Letterbox if Consignia has to unlock the box to collect or deliver mail.

The £63.00 licence fee listed above applies where the total number of licences held by a person does not exceed 10. Thereafter, each additional licence will carry a fee of £35.00.
