CONSIGNIA PLC SCHEME IP2/2002

[This note is not part of the Scheme] Note. The Scheme which follows this note is made under section 89 of the Postal Services Act 2000 and amends the Successor Postal Services Company Inland Parcel Post Scheme 2001. The Scheme, which comes into force on 4 July 2002, revises certain postal charges.

CONSIGNIA PLC INLAND PARCEL POST (AMENDMENT NO 4) SCHEME 2002

Made28 June 2002 Coming into operation4 July 2002 Consignia plc(a) by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by section 89 of the Postal Services Act 2000 and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, hereby makes the following Scheme: Commencement and citation 1. This Scheme shall come into operation on 4 July 2002 and may be cited as the Consignia plc Inland Parcel Post (Amendment No 4) Scheme 2002. 2. This Scheme shall be read as one with the Successor Postal Services Company Inland Parcel Post Scheme 2001(b) (hereinafter called “the Scheme”), as amended by the Consignia plc Inland Parcel Post (Amendment No 1) Scheme 2001(c), the Consignia plc Inland Parcel Posts (Amendment No 2) Scheme 2001(d) and the Consignia plc Inland Parcel Post (Amendment No 3) Scheme 2002(e). 3. A reference in this Scheme to the Successor Postal Services Company shall be read as a reference to Consignia plc. Rates of Postage There shall be substituted the following for Schedule 1 to the Scheme: “Schedule 1 Paragraphs 5 and 10 Rates of postage and limits of size and weight

References to Parcelforce A reference in the Successor Postal Services Company Inland Parcel Post Scheme 2001 to Parcelforce shall be read as a reference to the Successor Postal Services Company.
