NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A MINERALS LOCAL PLAN
REPLACEMENT NOTTINGHAMSHIRE MINERALS LOCAL PLAN—DEPOSIT DRAFT

Nottinghamshire County Council have prepared proposals for the replacement of the above plan. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for the area of Nottinghamshire County Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at Nottinghamshire County Council, Environment, Trent Bridge House, Fox Road, West Bridgford, and at the deposit points shown below, free of charge, on Mondays to Fridays during normal office/opening hours: Arnold: Gedling Borough Council Planning Office, Civic Centre, Arnot Hill Park. Ashfield: Ashfield District Council Planning Office, Urban Road, Kirby-in-Ashfield. Beeston: Broxtowe Borough Council Planning Office, Foster Avenue, Beeston. Eastwood: Public Library, Wellington Place. East Retford: Denman Library Churchgate. Kelham: Newark & Sherwood District Planning Office, Kelham Hall, Newark. Mansfield: Mansfield District Council Planning Office, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South. Newark: Newark Public Library, Beaumond Gardens, Balderton Gate. West Bridgford: Rushcliffe Borough Council Planning Office, Rushcliffe Civic Centre, Pavillion Road. Worksop: Bassetlaw District Council Planning Office, Queen’s Buildings, Potter Street. Objections to, and representations in respect of the proposals should be sent in writing to the Director of Environment, Nottinghamshire County Council, Trent Bridge House, Fox Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6BJ, before 5.00 pm on 9 August 2002. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only those objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address above within the 6 week period ending at 5.00 pm on 9 August 2002, will have a legal right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections Nottinghamshire County Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
