Notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 that by the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2002 made on 3 July 2002 the Countryside Council for Wales declared that the land contained 323.5 hectares (799.37 acres) or thereabouts situated in the Community of Merthyr Mawr in the County Borough of Bridgend and shown edged red on the attached plan has been acquired and is being held by the Council and that the said land is being managed as a National Nature Reserve. Certified copies of the Declaration with the plan attached have been deposited for public inspection free of charge at the Civic Offices of Bridgend County Borough Council, Angel Street, Bridgend CF31 4WB from Monday to Friday inclusive during normal office hours. Certified copies may also be inspected at the offices of the Countryside Council for Wales at Maes y Ffynnon, Ffordd Penrhos, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 2DN and at Unit 7 Castleton Court, Fortran Road, St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0LT from Monday to Friday inclusive during normal office hours.
