Notice is hereby given that Public Local Inquiries will be held into the Secretary of State’s proposal for Orders listed above and into objections which he has received in connection with that proposal following the close of the objection period on 17 April 2002. The Inquiries will be held by a person to be appointed on the nomination of the Lord Chancellor, by the Secretary of State for the purpose of the inquiries into the Orders. The Secretary of State will publish a further notice which will be in accordance with Rule 10 of the Highways (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994 and Rule 10 of the Compulsory Purchase by Ministers (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994. That notice will also include details of the Orders which are the subject of the public inquiries and explain the procedures to be followed for anyone who wishes to appear and to give evidence or submit alternative proposals.
