The Q ueen has been pleased to approve the appointment of Alisdair MacConachie, as Vice Lord-Lieutenant for the County of Durham to act for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the County, sickness or other inability to act. The appointment takes effect from 10 September 2002. 18 September 2002.
