NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT AND OF PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS TO THE ALTERATION OF LOCAL PLAN
SOUTH LAKELAND LOCAL PLAN

The local inquiry into these proposals has been held and the report of the person holding the inquiry has been considered by South Lakeland District Council. South Lakeland District Council propose to make modifications to these proposals. A list of the proposed modifications (other than modifications which the authority are satisfied will not materially affect the content of the proposals), with the authority’s reasons for proposing them, are available for inspection at South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal and Ulverston Town Hall, Ulverston, free of charge, on Monday to Friday between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm. The proposals can also be inspected at the District main libraries at Arnside, Grange-over Sands, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Milnthorpe and Ulverston. Also available for inspection are: Copies of the proposals; and the report of the person who held the local inquiry and the authority’s statement of reasons and decisions in the light of the report. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposed should be sent in writing to the Economy and Development Group, Amenities and Development Department, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, Cumbria LA9 4DL before 29 November 2002. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections are received during the period given for making objections, South Lakeland District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
