THE NORFOLK OFFSHORE WIND FARM ORDER
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER

Norfolk Offshore Wind Limited, whose address to which all requests for further information and all notices or other documents required to be served upon the applicant is c/o Winckworth Sherwood, 35 Great Peter Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3LR, is applying to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry under section 6 of the Transport and Works Act 1992 for the above-mentioned Order under section 3 of that Act. The draft Order makes provision for the construction and operation of an offshore wind farm and associated works approximately 7 kilometres north-east of Cromer in the district of North Norfolk, county of Norfolk. The works will comprise 30 wind turbines, a network of cables connecting the turbines and marine feeder cables connecting the wind farm to the foreshore at Overstrand. The Order will also provide for the setting up of exclusion zones in the vicinity of the works. Any objections to, or other representations about, the proposals in the application should be sent to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, the Offshore Renewables Consents Unit, Bay 170, 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0ET, on or before 10 January 2003. An objection or representation MUST (i) be received by the Secretary of State on or before 10 January 2003, (ii) be made in writing, (iii) state the grounds of the objection or representation, (iv) indicate who is making the objection or representation, and (v) give an address to which correspondence relating to the objection or representation may be sent. The Secretary of State may make objections and other representations public and will copy them to the applicant for the Order.
