APPLIED CHEMICALS LIMITED RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME

(Former Registered Office Salisbury Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 2SW) Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is given that the Applied Chemicals Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme (“the Scheme”), is in wind up. The Trustee of the Scheme is anxious to trace former employees (whether full time or part time) of Applied Chemicals Ltd (current registered office Spring Road, Smethwick, West Midlands B66 1PT) who are, or who think they may be entitled to, benefits under the Scheme. Any such person is asked to provide written particulars of any such claim, entitlement or interest to the Trustee of Applied Chemicals Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme, c/o DBC Pension Services Limited, Vesey House, High Street, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands B72 1XH, on or before 1 February 2003. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person whose claims or demands have not been received or are not already known to the Trustee by this date. After this date, the Trustee will distribute benefits from the Scheme to the persons entitled to them, having regard to the claims of which it has notice.
