NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited of Anglian House, Ambury Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 3NZ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from 2 boreholes in the Lincolnshire Limestone at Grid Refs TF 0950 4564 and TF 0949 4564 in the parish of Kirkby La Thorpe in the district of North Kesteven in the county of Lincolnshire. The proposal is to abstract at the following rates: 250 cubic metres per hour, 6,000 cubic metres per day and 1,750,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for public water supply. This application is to renew an existing licence that will otherwise expire on 31 December 2003. A copy of the application and any maps and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above and at Kirkby La Thorpe Depot, Mount Lane, Kirkby La Thorpe, Lincolnshire between 23 December 2002 and 24 January 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
