CLEMENT AND FOSTER LTD PENSION & LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME (“the Scheme”)

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that any person having a claim or interest in the Scheme is required to send particulars in writing of the claim or interest to Mr F Bungay, Aspen plc, Northumberland House, 303-306 High Holborn, London WC1V 7JZ, before Thursday 3 April 2003. After this date the Trustees will distribute the Scheme assets among the Members and any other persons entitled to benefit having regard only to claims and interests of which they have had notice and shall not be liable to any person of whose claim they shall not have had notice. Any person who has received correspondence relating to this Scheme, from Aspen plc, need not re-apply to the Trustees.
