NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that S R N Golding & Son, Oaklands, Straight Furlong, Pymore, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 2EG, are applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from main drains and farm dykes at, between and contiguous to National Grid References: TL 493857 and TL 494856; TL 499857 and TL 501857; TL 500874 and TL 501876; TL 507873 and TL 509873; TL 511870 and TL 512866; TL 509875 and TL 510874; TL 512878 and TL 513874; TL 523860; TL 524863 and TL 525864; At Mount Pleasant Farm; Frith Head, Straight Furlong, Little, “O” Furlong and “A” Furlong Droves, Pymore; Gravel Head Bridge and Third Drove, Little Downham, near Ely, Cambridgeshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates; 58.7 cubic meters per hour, 478.4 cubic metres per day and 8,095 cubic metres per year between 1 April and 31 October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. This is a renewal application to replace licence number 6/33/26/S/312; amalgamate licence number 6/33/26/S/358 and increase the overall quantities as above, together with additional land, abstraction points and period extension. A copy of the application and any map, plans or other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Oaklands, Straight Furlong, Pymore, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 2EG, between 10 January 2003 and 7 February 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
