TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make
an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up
of an area of highway off Highfield Close, Thame, Oxfordshire OX9 2AY.
If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable
the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance
with the planning permission granted to S L Ropkins by South Oxfordshire District
Council on 25 September 2002 under Ref PO2/N0557.
Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours
during the 28 days commencing on 10 January 2003 at the offices of South Oxfordshire
District Council, Council Offices, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford OX10 8NJ, and may
be obtained free of charge from the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for
the South East (quoting Ref GOSE 029/001/OXON/058) at the address below.
During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the
Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/OXON/058 and
addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for
the South East, Third Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA.
In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of
any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected
by it.
