Notices under the Trustee Act 1925
CLARKE AND SMITH INDUSTRIES LIMITED PENSION & LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME (the “Scheme”)
Notice is given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Scheme is being wound up. It is believed that all Members of the Scheme and their benefits under it have been identified and it is the intention of the Trustees to distribute the assets of the Scheme to those who appear to be entitled. Any former employees of Clarke and Smith Manufacturing Company Limited, Clarke and Smith Industries Limited or any subsidiary Company in the Clarke and Smith group of Companies (the “Companies”) who believe they may be entitled to benefits from the Scheme, should write to Mr R Evans, c/o Walker Morris Trustees Limited, Kings Court, 12 King Street, Leeds LS1 2HL, on or before 7 May 2003. Claimants should before 7 May 2003 provide their full name, address, date of birth, the period during which they worked for any of the Companies and any documents supporting their claim. Please note that notification is not required from Members who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme or who have received announcements from the Trustees. After 7 May 2003 the Trustees will proceed with the winding-up of the Scheme and distribution of the Scheme assets, having regard only to the claim and interests of which they have prior notice and will not as regard to the assets so distributed be liable to any person of whose claim they do not have notice.
