A Statute made by the University of Cambridge amending Statute D, has been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of its having been submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923. The purpose of the amendment is to enable appointments to University Senior Lectureships to be made by the appropriate committees depending on whether the new post is an advertised post or the result of a promotion.
